The Salon Studyrama des Études Supérieures d'Orléans returns on Saturday 17 October 2026 at CO'Met, with free admission upon registration. It is the city's flagship orientation event, organised with the backing of the Orléans-Tours education authority and the University of Orléans. Over 500 programmes from Bac to Bac+5 will be represented — BTS, BUT, preparatory classes, grandes écoles, specialised schools, IUTs, apprenticeships and the armed forces. Visitors can talk directly with teaching staff, lecturers and current students about Parcoursup, work-study tracks, campus life and career paths. On site you will find an information area hosting the Parcoursup stand run by the education authority, a university village with the University of Orléans, the IUT and the CFA des Universités Centre-Val de Loire, plus orientation advisers from TonAvenir. A full programme of talks runs throughout the day, covering how to pick a business school, preparing for health studies, getting into engineering grandes écoles and how to handle your Parcoursup application. Held in Hall 1 of CO'Met on rue du Président Robert Schuman, the venue is reachable via tram line A and offers free parking for around 2,000 cars. A practical stop for sixth-formers, families and adults considering a career change who want to plan their academic future in the Loire Valley.
