Studyrama Higher Education Fair in Saint-Étienne, 2026

Saint-Étienne's flagship higher education fair returns to the Centre de Congrès for a single October day, gathering more than 500 programmes from Bac to Bac+5. Among the exhibitors are Université Jean Monnet and its faculties, IUTs, BTS departments, preparatory classes, engineering and business schools, and apprenticeship centres (CFA). The event is backed by the Lyon Education Authority, the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes Region and the Saint-Étienne metropolitan area. Students and families can talk face to face with admissions officers, teachers and current students about curricula, selection procedures, internships and career prospects. The Village Universitaire groups the city's academic ecosystem: IAE, IUT de Saint-Étienne and Roanne, Télécom Saint-Étienne, ENISE Centrale Lyon, ENSASE and Mines Saint-Étienne. An orientation hub staffed by CIO psychologists offers personalised guidance on study and career paths. The conference programme covers health studies, integrated engineering preparatory tracks, the new health-access licence at Université Jean Monnet and the Parcoursup platform, presented by the Lyon Education Authority. The 4L Trophy also joins the fair with a real rally car on display, a nod to student adventure projects beyond the classroom. Admission is free with prior registration, but hotel rooms in Saint-Étienne fill up quickly around mid-October. Visitors travelling from outside the region should book accommodation near the Centre de Congrès or the Châteaucreux district well ahead of time.
