The Salon des Maires et des Collectivités Locales is the yearly landmark gathering of the French local-government ecosystem: mayors, elected officials, territorial executives and public procurement leads meet corporates, startups, institutions and public service operators under one roof. The 2026 edition takes place while municipal teams are being renewed, adopts the tagline “Local boldness” and positions itself as the platform where territorial challenges become concrete projects. Over 1,300 exhibitors occupy Pavilion 7 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, organised across ten core fields: construction and planning, transport and mobility, environment and quality of life, security and prevention, culture and leisure, energy and climate, digital and connectivity, health and social cohesion, local economic development, and governance and funding. Two co-located shows run alongside: the Sports & Parasports Show and the Biodiversity & Ecological Engineering Show. More than 65,000 professionals are expected, predominantly decision-makers arriving with live projects: preparing investments for the new mandate cycle, sourcing qualified suppliers, anticipating regulatory and technological shifts, or tackling day-to-day challenges such as energy transition, resource management and climate resilience. The programme features conferences, technical workshops, Innovation Awards pitch sessions, immersive zones such as Vis-ta-ville and Climate Sense, plus dedicated days including TOP Recrutement and the Social Innovation Day. Entry is free for trade visitors via a nominative badge, and exhibiting companies can apply through the official show platform.
