The Salon des Vins de Terroir et Produits Régionaux brings winemakers and artisan producers from across France to Arras for a three-day showcase of wines and regional foods. Visitors can taste bottles from a range of appellations and pick up cheeses, charcuterie and other farm-made specialities straight from the people who make them. Now in its fourth decade and formerly held in Seclin, the fair blends tasting, direct sales and informal chats with producers. It draws both trade visitors and the general public with an interest in French wine and regional gastronomy. The venue is the Artois Expo exhibition centre in Saint-Laurent-Blangy, just outside Arras, with plenty of on-site parking. Opening hours run 10:00 to 20:00 on Friday and Saturday, and 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday.
