Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants Paris 2026

The Salon des Vins des Vignerons Indépendants returns to Paris Expo Porte de Versailles from 10 to 13 December 2026 for its winter edition, one of two the Confédération des Vignerons Indépendants de France stages in the capital each year. Hundreds of family-run estates from every French wine region — Alsace, Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, the Rhône, Languedoc, Provence, Jura, Savoie and the South-West — pour their latest vintages for visitors, with no middlemen involved. The set-up is the one the organisers have refined over nearly five decades: identical stands for everyone, appellations deliberately mixed, and a tasting glass included with the entry ticket. The point is to let drinkers discover the breadth of French terroir by talking to the grower directly, hearing the story behind each bottle and the way the estate works. Bottles can be tasted, bought on the spot and taken away — handy timing, since the fair lands just a few weeks before Christmas. The fair welcomes both the general public and trade visitors (restaurants, importers, specialist retailers, sommeliers), who use it to make contact with small producers and expand their listings. Halls are large and tastings easily stretch over several hours, so many attendees book one or more nights in a hotel near Paris Expo Porte de Versailles rather than driving back the same day. Paris Expo Porte de Versailles is served by metro line 12 (Porte de Versailles and Convention stations), several tram and bus routes, and the ring road. The 15th arrondissement, right around the venue, holds much of the most convenient hotel stock for fairgoers.
