Salon du dessin 2027 in Paris: where to stay near the Palais Brongniart

For six days each April, the Salon du dessin turns the Palais Brongniart into the European capital of old master, modern and contemporary drawings. Specialist dealers, museum curators, scholars and private collectors gather to explore works on paper ranging from historic masterpieces to pieces within reach of new buyers. The fair runs alongside Drawing Week, which opens the doors of more than fifteen Parisian museums and institutions to private visits, as well as an international symposium on the materiality of drawing and the Guerlain Prize for contemporary drawing. Each edition also welcomes a guest museum of honour presenting highlights from its graphic collection. Staying in or around the 2nd arrondissement puts visitors within walking distance of the fair and lets them pair the event with the Bourse district, the Marais and the city's broader cultural calendar.
