Besançon Student Fair 2027: where to stay near Micropolis

The Salon du Lycéen et de l'Étudiant de Besançon brings together students, families and school counsellors for a single-day event at the Parc des Expositions Micropolis. Organised by L'Étudiant with support from the Région académique Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, it gathers programmes ranging from the final years of secondary school up to master's level, including apprenticeships and work-study pathways. Visitors can speak face to face with universities, engineering and business schools, vocational institutes and grandes écoles, and can join talks led by journalists and education specialists. Much of the programme revolves around Parcoursup: how the national platform works, key deadlines, how to rank choices and how to respond to offers from institutions. Whether a student already has a clear plan or is torn between a licence, a BTS, a BUT or a specialist school, the fair offers practical answers. Sessions also address internships, apprenticeships, student housing and financial aid. For those travelling to Besançon for the event, the venue on boulevard Ouest is convenient from the historic centre and the main train station, with a wide choice of hotels within easy reach of Micropolis.
