The 2026 edition of the Salon International du Livre Rare & de l'Objet d'Art takes over the Carreau du Temple in Paris from Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December. Run by SLAM (the French national antiquarian and modern booksellers' association), the fair brings together rare book dealers, galleries and graphic arts specialists from across Europe and beyond. It is the reference meeting point for collectors, bibliophiles, researchers and anyone drawn to printed heritage. Exhibitors offer rare and antiquarian books, manuscripts, autographs, prints, drawings and photographs, with material ranging from the 15th century to 20th-century avant-gardes. Alongside the commercial offer, the programme features themed exhibitions, talks and the Prix de Bibliographie, which recognises outstanding work in the field of bibliography. The Young Bibliophile Prize reflects the fair's commitment to nurturing a new generation of collectors. Entry is open to both trade and general public. Tickets cost €10 and are sold on site only — there is no online box office. The 3 December preview evening is by invitation. Visitors coming from outside Paris will find the Marais and République neighbourhoods convenient for walking to the venue.
