Riocentro: Exhibition & Convention Center is one of the largest and most complete event and convention centres in Latin America, located in Barra Olímpica, Rio de Janeiro. Opened in 1977 and managed by GL events for nearly two decades, the complex brings together four interconnected exhibition pavilions, a modular convention centre with 28 rooms, an amphitheatre seating up to 12,000 people, high-standard audiovisual studios and an integrated hotel. With over 500,000 m² of total area and 98,000 m² built, it has hosted historic events such as ECO-92, Rio+20, the 2007 Pan American Games and the 2016 Olympic Games, as well as fairs like Bienal do Livro, Web Summit Rio, ABAV Expo and LAAD Defence & Security.
