North American Power & Renewables Forum 2027, Denver, CO

For two decades the Solar & Energy Storage Summit grew alongside the solar and storage industries, becoming a key gathering for developers, IPPs and investors. For 2027, Wood Mackenzie is expanding it into the North American Power & Renewables Forum, a broader event that keeps solar and storage at its core while placing them inside the context of North America's entire power market. The 2027 agenda tackles the forces reshaping the region's electricity landscape: energy independence and security of supply, geopolitical volatility and its effect on power prices and technology supply chains, and Wood Mackenzie's outlooks for gas, solar, storage, nuclear and geothermal. Sessions also examine the load growth driven by data centers and reshored manufacturing, the affordability and reliability challenges that come with it, and the grid investment needed—from expanded transmission to flexibility programs. Attendees mix with utilities, hyperscalers, IPPs, developers, financiers and government representatives, with more than 450 delegates, 12+ hours of content and 8+ hours of networking. Sponsors already confirmed for 2027 include Energy Dome, CALB, Heliene, GridBeyond and T1 Energy. The venue is the Omni Interlocken Hotel in Broomfield, Colorado, roughly midway between Denver and Boulder, with the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop. Early booking is $1195 USD per person through October 16; the standard rate is $2095 USD, and Wood Mackenzie clients can request a discount code.
