SouthMACH 2027 in Christchurch: where to stay

SouthMACH is the South Island's flagship trade exhibition for manufacturing, engineering and technology, bringing together suppliers, buyers and industry leaders across two focused days in Christchurch. The show floor spans control and instrumentation, industrial automation, robotics, welding and cutting, tooling, hydraulics and pneumatics, packaging, Industry 4.0 and additive manufacturing. Beyond the exhibition, SouthMACH hosts a programme of industry seminars and networking functions featuring engineers, manufacturers and government speakers. It is a working event built for sourcing, deal-making and staying current with new brands and product launches landing in New Zealand. The 2027 edition runs Wednesday 26 and Thursday 27 May at Wolfbrook Arena, with doors open 9:00am to 6:00pm on day one and 9:00am to 4:00pm on day two. Visitors travelling from outside Christchurch typically stay near the arena or the airport, both a short drive from the venue.
