Tendances Créatives Bilbao 2027: crafts and DIY at the BEC

Tendances Créatives returns to Bilbao for its third edition as one of the key gatherings for craft lovers in northern Spain. Over four days, Bilbao Exhibition Centre fills with exhibitors specialising in sewing, patchwork, knitting, crochet, embroidery, scrapbooking and home decor. Visitors can browse fabrics, yarns, patterns, leather, beads, craft kits and a wide range of accessories to fuel their creativity. The fair also offers a programme of free workshops and demonstrations led by professional makers, with dedicated spaces such as the Couture Lab', the Tricot Lab' and the Make & Take areas for sewing, patchwork and scrap. Themed displays showcase inspiring projects and give visitors the chance to discover new techniques and materials. The event welcomes both the general public and trade professionals, and takes place at the Ansio-Barakaldo exhibition grounds, just outside Bilbao. It is organised by the French agency Initiales, which also runs the Toulouse and Montpellier editions. A great opportunity for anyone looking for accommodation near Bilbao Exhibition Centre and wanting to combine the fair with a few days in the city. The third Bilbao edition runs from 28 to 31 January 2027, open 10:00 to 18:00. Advance ticket purchase is recommended, and the full activity programme is available on the official website.
