TGCA Show, Auction and Display Awards 2026 in Denton

The Texas Gun Collectors Association returns to the Embassy Suites Hotel and Convention Center in Denton for its Fall 2026 meeting, a three-day affair running October 16 through 18. Founded in 1950, the TGCA is one of the nation's oldest arms collecting organizations, and its biannual shows remain a benchmark for antique and historic firearms. Exhibitors bring antique and collectible firearms, Civil War, WWI, WWII and Western memorabilia, Curio & Relic arms, plus accoutrements, saloon and gambling paraphernalia and related ephemera. Modern guns and ammunition are not permitted except those classified as Curio & Relic. The weekend's highlight is the Saturday auction, a long-standing tradition that often surfaces a real bargain. Attendees also enjoy educational seminars, non-competitive exhibits, a ladies' program, and time to trade notes with collectors from across the U.S. and overseas. The show is open to members, guests, and — for a small entry fee — the general public. Both the Spring and Fall meetings are now held at the Embassy Suites in Denton, a modern venue that has hosted the TGCA's Fall meeting since 2018.
