Royal International Air Tattoo 2027 in Fairford: where to stay

The Royal International Air Tattoo returns to RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire for three days in July 2027. Widely regarded as one of the world's largest military airshows, RIAT brings together hundreds of aircraft representing around 30 nations, alongside 18 hours of flying displays across the weekend. The event is staged by the Royal Air Force Charitable Trust, and every ticket supports the charity's work. Over 50 years of history have made RIAT a fixture for aviation enthusiasts, defence industry professionals and families alike. Under-18s enter free when accompanying an adult ticket holder. Beyond the flight line, the showground hosts the Techno Zone®, the Take Off Zone, the RAF Experience and a wide choice of hospitality areas such as the Aviation Club and Cotswold Club. Almost 170,000 visitors attend across the three days, making early hotel booking around Fairford, Cirencester or Swindon strongly advisable.
