Wind for Goods 2027 in Saint-Nazaire: hotels for trade visitors

Wind for Goods is the leading international gathering dedicated to wind-powered and decarbonised maritime transport. Launched in 2021 in the Nantes–Saint-Nazaire area, it brings together shipyards, shipowners, equipment makers, engineering firms, academic institutions and public stakeholders committed to transforming the maritime sector. The programme combines an exhibition area with conference sessions, panel discussions and workshops where concrete wind-propulsion solutions and other innovations aimed at cutting the carbon footprint of freight and passenger shipping are presented. In 2025, the event drew around 1,000 visitors from 35 nationalities and more than 70 exhibitors. Organised by Nantes Saint-Nazaire Développement, Wind for Goods is supported by the French Ministry for Ecological Transition and has been awarded the 'La Mer en Commun' label as part of the Year of the Sea 2025. The usual venue is the Base de sous-marins in Saint-Nazaire, an industrial harbour site that reinforces the event's maritime identity. The 2027 edition will take place on 16–17 June in Saint-Nazaire and targets professionals in the maritime, logistics, renewable energy and environmental protection sectors interested in wind-powered cargo transport.
