PSR/CanalEnergia Workshop 2027 in Rio de Janeiro

The PSR/CanalEnergia Workshop returns for its 17th edition at the Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, widely regarded as a key technical fixture for Brazil's power sector. Organised by Informa Markets and led by Luiz Barroso and Mario Veiga, the programme packs a single day of panels covering generation, transmission, distribution and electricity trading, with a strong focus on the energy transition, regulation and digital transformation. Sessions cover post-COP30 climate policy, carbon markets, storage, the full opening of the free market, renewable curtailment and transmission access bottlenecks. The format favours direct exchange between PSR specialists and a senior executive audience; the 2026 edition drew over 300 attendees, 18 speakers and 10 sponsors.
