Barbecue Expo is Europe's biggest gathering for live-fire cooking, and its 2027 edition takes over the Parc Floral de Paris from 12 to 14 March. Over three days, trade and public audiences mix on the same floor: more than 200 international brands showcase grills, smokers, kamados, accessories, fuels and gourmet products, all with tastings and on-site sales at the booths. The headline feature is the Grill Arena, a live battle format in which 15 pitmasters from five countries go head-to-head in front of the crowd, judged by an expert panel and with a single champion crowned on Sunday. Add to that 12 masterclasses capped at 20 seats — brisket, kamado, asado, charcuterie, dry-aged — 16 curated street food BBQ restaurants and a free-grill zone where you can light your own fire and try equipment in real conditions. Getting there is straightforward: the venue sits at the end of metro line 1, at Château de Vincennes station, with 2,000 parking spaces, a park-and-ride and step-free access throughout. Organisers recommend booking accommodation early, as the show draws international visitors across the whole weekend. It's a date open both to hospitality professionals, distributors and to enthusiasts who want to learn, taste and take gear home. A perfect excuse for a weekend break in Paris.
